Up for sale, a 1989 Fender Stratocaster ‘72 vintage reissue model ST72-75 in 100% original condition and in perfect working order. This uncommon “Made in Japan” Strat was crafted at the Fujigen factory during the golden age of Fender Japan production, essentially a progenitor of the Yngwie Malmsteen signature model ST72, sharing a scalloped fretboard and '72-centric features including a large headstock, bullet truss rod, three-bolt F neck plate, and block bridge saddles.
Tonewoods include a basswood body and one-piece maple neck, and this ST72-75 weighs 8lbs 9oz. The trio of alnico magnet single coils offer a range of traditional Strat tonalities, with chiming sparkle, percussive cut and bell-like sweetness on tap, plus hollow quack at the “in-between” positions on the five-way pickup selector switch. This ST72-75 has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.
Neck Specs:
-Wood: Maple
-Shape: Slender C, measuring .810” 1st fret, .890” 12th fret

-Frets: Slender, faint wear favoring the plain strings on frets 1-7
-Scale Length: 25 1/2”
