Up for sale, a circa 1989 ESP George Lynch SGL-300PT in near-mint, 100% original condition and in perfect working order, complete with the original hardshell case. Features include a GL Purple Tiger finish with matching reverse “hockey stick” headstock, a round D neck profile with 1 3/4“ nut width, SH Seymour Duncan pickup complement, Floyd Rose tremolo, and 22-fret ebony fingerboard.
The maple body ensures great natural articulation, sustain and treble cut, weighing 10lbs 11oz. The Seymour Duncan SSL-1 single coil in the neck position features staggered hand-ground Alnico V rod magnets, yielding vintage-style single coil tonalities with plenty of sparkle and chime. The bridge humbucker is a Duncan Distortion, Duncan’s original high output humbucker, engineered for gain with tight, mean lows and searing treble articulation. The Distortion was wound by the venerable “Queen of the SD Custom Shop,” Maricela Juarez, as identified by the “J” on the baseplate sticker. This Purple Tiger has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 9-42 strings, slinky action, and accurate intonation.

The satin finish on the neck profile is smooth and clean.
