Up for sale, a 1989 Charvel by Jackson DK-065-SSH in exceptional, 100% original condition and in perfect working order. Made at the Chu Shin factory in Japan exclusively for the Japanese domestic market, this Superstrat is built to shred, featuring an SSH pickup complement, Floyd Rose-licensed tremolo, and a gloss Bubblegum Pink finish.
Essentially a revision of the Model 3 Charvel platform, the DK-065-SSH features a yellow poplar body, quartersawn rock maple neck, and slab 22-fret rosewood fretboard. The bridge pickup is a Jackson J90C distortion class humbucker with an accentuated low frequency response. The pair of single coils are Jackson J100s, delivering classic Strat articulation and snap in the neck and middle positions. The five-way blade pickup selector switch offers a variety of voicing options via the SSH configuration, yielding vintage-flavored single coil cut and thick, ripping drive. This DK-065-SSH weighs 7lbs 7oz, professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 9-42 strings, slinky action, and spot-on intonation.

Cosmetic wear on the gloss Bubblegum Pink finish is limited to light scuffing on top along the treble side of the pick path, faint scratches on the back that fall well short of “buckle rash," and a few minor dings on the body as a whole, largely relegated to the perimeter. The neck profile retains its smooth satin finish.
A padded gigbag is included.
