Up for sale, a circa 1989 B.C. Rich NJ Series II Warlock bass, honestly played and in perfect working order. From the NJ Series II (short for Nagoya, Japan), this finely crafted Warlock bass features a pair of split-coil pickups and a DeVille Green finish with matching headstock. This Warlock bass is also very reminiscent of the instruments played frequently by Poison’s Bobby Dall throughout the late ‘80s and early ‘90s.

With an alder body, “Super 2100” laminate neck, and thick slab ebonic (synthetic ebony) fretboard, this Warlock bass has a naturally resonant acoustic platform with a clear, cutting quality and plenty of punch and heft on tap. Governed by a single Volume knob, these pickups are big, bold, and full, with tons of low end balanced by potent treble aggression. Weighing 8lbs 3oz, this Warlock Bass benefits from a professional setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 45-100 roundwound strings, comfortable action, and accurate intonation.

This bass has two repairs of note, one running along the bass-side corner of the headstock, and the other on top crossing the Volume knob. Both have been professionally addressed, with clear overspray across the body repair. There is some minor finish chipping at the body points, a bit of checking at the corners of the neck pocket, and light wear consistent with use. The satin finish on the neck profile is smooth and clean.

The original BC Rich-branded gigbag is included.
