Up for sale, a 1988 Greco Super Real Project RS-90 in exceptional, 100% original condition and in perfect working order. Produced for just one year at the Fujigen factory in Japan, this rare upper-tiered Greco is essentially a hybrid between an ES-335 and an ES-175, boasting a slender semi-hollow body, gold hardware, tortoise binding/pickguard, and a pair of “The Groove” low output PAF-style humbuckers.
Tonewoods include a maple body (maple centerblock), three-piece maple neck, and a bound rosewood fretboard, and this RS-90 weighs 7lbs 10oz. The pair of “The Groove” humbuckers are wound in the vein of a lower output PAF, delivering a bell-like top end, complex harmonics, and spongy, airy lows that are very dynamic to user inputs and picking dynamics. The bridge has a focused growl, and the neck pickup is broad and smooth. This RS-90 has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.

The gloss Pearl White finish (described in the catalog as just "White") is framed by multi-ply tortoise binding, as are the f holes, and cosmetic wear is limited to faint buckle worming on the back at the upper bout, a few minor dings along the lower bout perimeter, and a touch of pick scuffing on top. The gloss on the neck profile is flawless save for a couple shallow marks.
A padded gigbag is included.
