Up for sale, a 1988 Fender Telecaster ‘72 vintage reissue model TL72-60 in excellent condition and in perfect working order, complete with hangtags. A non-catalog version of the TL72 platform offered with gold hardware throughout for a ¥5,000 upcharge, this rare “Made in Japan” Telecaster was produced at the Fujigen factory exclusively for the Japanese domestic market.
Tonewoods include a sen ash body and a one-piece maple neck, and this TL72-60 weighs 8lbs 2oz, dishing out midrange-rich twang with excellent note attack, punchy wound strings and sparkling trebles. This TL72-60 has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar, dialed in with 10-46 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.

There are some minor dings on the body, and the gloss on the neck profile is smooth to the palm, with a few shallow nicks that are not distracting while fretting, and limited wear through the gloss along the fretboard edges.
A faux leather gigbag is included, along with the original hangtags.
