Up for sale, a 1988 Fender Stratocaster ‘72 vintage reissue model ST72-75SC in near-mint, 100% original condition and in perfect working order. This uncommon “Made in Japan” Strat was crafted at the Fujigen factory during the golden age of Fender Japan production, essentially a progenitor of the Yngwie Malmsteen signature model ST72, sharing a scalloped fretboard and '72-centric features including a large headstock, bullet truss rod, three-bolt F neck plate, and block bridge saddles.
Tonewoods include a basswood body and one-piece maple neck, and this ST72-75 weighs 7lbs 15oz. The trio of alnico magnet single coils offer a range of traditional Strat tonalities, with chiming sparkle, percussive cut and bell-like sweetness on tap, plus hollow quack at the “in-between” positions on the five-way pickup selector switch. This ST72-75 has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 9-42 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.

The gloss finish is abbreviated YWH (Yellow White), as it's a purposefully yellowed iteration of Olympic White that closely matches Yngwie's vintage Strats, and cosmetic wear is limited to just a few tiny dings on the back and a couple marks on the lower bout perimeter. The ambered gloss on the neck profile is smooth and clean.
The original Fender-branded gigbag is included.
