Up for sale, a 1988 Fender Stratocaster ‘67 vintage reissue left-handed model ST67-85L in excellent condition and in perfect working order, complete with a vintage hardshell case and upgraded with a set of Tonerider Pure Vintage single coil pickups. This rare “Made in Japan” Strat is designed as a faithful recreation of Jimi Hendrix’s iconic ‘67 Strat, featuring a gloss Olympic White finish and a maple neck with a maple cap fretboard.
The Tonerider Pure Vintage single coil pickups are designed to deliver idyllic vintage Strat tonalities, chiming without harsh trebles and equally well-suited for both warm, broad cleans and overdriven grit and spank. Wound with AWG42 wire and scatterwound to approximate genuine vintage late ‘50s Strat tone, the Pure Vintage single coils feature Tonerider’s “Modified Vintage Stagger” pole pieces to ensure optimal string-to-string balance. This ST67-85L weighs 7lbs 8oz, professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.
