Up for sale, a 1988 B.C. Rich Warlock Bass in excellent, 100% original condition and in perfect working order. Produced as part of the NJ (Nagoya, Japan) Series II, this Warlock features a Fluorescent Pink finish with matching headstock, “Super 2100” laminate neck, an “ebonic” synthetic ebony fingerboard, and streamlined controls.
Weighing 8lbs 13oz, this Warlock dishes out plenty of natural cut and punch, providing an ideal platform for the pair of high-powered split-coil pickups. These pickups are big, bold, and full, with tons of low end balanced by potent treble aggression. This Warlock Bass has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 45-100 roundwound strings, comfortable action, and accurate intonation.
Neck Specs:
-Wood: Super 2100 (maple/walnut laminate)
-Shape: Medium C, measuring .830” 1st fret, .925” 12th fret
-Fretboard: Ebonic (synthetic ebony composite)
-Frets: Medium jumbo, no wear
-Scale Length: 34”
-Nut: 1.650”, bone
-Tuners: Gotoh Compact
Body Specs:
-Wood: Yellow poplar
-Pickups: P-style split-coil x2
-Harness: Japanese pot dates to October, 1988
-Controls: Volume
-Hardware: BCR toploader bridge, dome-top knurled knob
Cosmetic wear on the gloss Fluorescent Pink finish includes a few chips at the body points (common on the Warlock body shape), shallow buckle rash on the bass-side of the back, and some minor marks on the body along with a single extra doweled strap button hole near the lower bout edge. The satin finish on the neck profile is smooth and clean.
A gigbag is included.
