1987 Marshall JCM800 Model 4212 Vintage 2x12 Tube Combo Amp w/ Celestion G12T-75

Up for sale, a 1987 Marshall JCM800 model 4212 2x12 tube combo amp in good working order. This single input two-channel JCM800 delivers the thick crunch, sizzle, and power for which the 800 series is known. Freshly serviced by our techs here at Mike & Mike's Guitar Bar and properly biased with a pair of Groove Tubes EL34 power tubes, this Marshall is ready for stage and studio use.

The 4212 is a two-channel affair (Normal and Boost) along with a Master section comprising the Reverb control, Master Volume, and global Presence control. The channels and Reverb effect are footswitchable. The circuit is extremely original, with stock Drake transformers and just a few new electrolytic caps to ensure optimal functionality. All of the original Wima capacitors and Alpha pots are intact too. The amp is loaded with the original pair of Celestion G12T-75 ceramic magnet drivers, both of which have clean frames and original cones.

The amp retains the original molded plastic corners, handle caps and chassis straps, along with the large "Marshall" logo and piping on the black grillcloth. The original black tolex shows its fair share of nicks and tears, but has survived the last 35 years in style.

A two-button footswitch is included.
