Up for sale, a 1987 Ibanez 580B Ballback in near-mint, 100% original condition and in perfect working order. This exceedingly rare Ibanez was part of the short-lived Roadster Pro series, produced at the Fujigen factory for just a single year from 1987-88. Built to shred, this guitar features an uncommon streamlined control configuration, HH pickup complement, and Edge tremolo.

Weighing 7lbs 10oz, tonewoods include a mahogany body and a maple neck capped by a thick slab rosewood fingerboard. Produced by DiMarzio in the USA exclusively for Ibanez, the IBZ/USA pickups are rich and powerful; the humbucker in the bridge position is hot and aggressive, with tailored lows for optimal clarity, while the humbucker in the neck position is fat with a smooth, singing quality. This 580B Ballback has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 9-42 strings, slinky action, and accurate intonation.
