Up for sale, a 1987 Greco SA-64-70 in excellent, 100% original condition and in perfect working order. Crafted at the Fujigen factory during the Mint Collection era of Greco production, this “Super Real Project” Greco is a faithful recreation of an early ‘60s ES-335, featuring a long tenon neck joint, a pair of “Screamin’” PAF-style humbuckers, ABR-1-style bridge, and a gloss Sunburst finish.

Tonewoods include a semi-hollow maple body (maple centerblock), mahogany neck, and bound rosewood fretboard, and this SA-64-70 weighs 8lbs 3oz. The “Screamin’” PAF-style humbuckers deliver a bevy of vintage-style tonalities: the bridge pickup has a complex and detailed sound, with a touch of sizzle and a round bass response, and the neck position humbucker has more girth and fullness while still offering plenty of clarity. This SA-64-70 has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.

The gloss Sunburst finish highlights birdseye figuring in the maple, and cosmetic wear includes light buckle rash on the back (bass-side waist and lower bout edge), a few small chips along the perimeter, and some pinhead-sized dings largely on top behind the bridge and central to the back. The neck profile retains its smooth gloss, with a few shallow marks along the profile length that are not distracting to the palm while fretting.

The original faux leather gigbag is included.
