Up for sale, a 1987 Greco EGC68-70 in excellent, 100% original condition and in perfect working order, complete with the original hardshell case. This top tier, non-catalog Greco model was crafted at the Fujigen factory as part of the Mint Collection, featuring a gloss Cherry finish accented by gold hardware, outfitted with a pair of “Screamin’” PAF humbuckers. Tonewoods include a mahogany body, solid maple top with a bookmatched flame maple veneer, and a mahogany neck with a long tenon joint capped with a dark rosewood fretboard.
Lightweight at only 9lbs, this Greco is a lively and powerful-sounding instrument, yielding a wide array of quintessential LP-style tones via the original pickup pair. The bridge pickup has a complex and detailed sound, with a touch of sizzle and a round bass response, and the neck position humbucker delivers more girth and fullness while still offering plenty of clarity. The neck profile retains its smooth gloss, with some shallow marks on its length.
