Up for sale, a 1987 Greco Mint Collection model EGC68-50 in exceptional, 100% original condition and in perfect working order, complete with the original hardshell case. Crafted at the Fujigen factory during the “lawsuit” era of Japanese guitar production, this Mint Collection Greco is a clear response to the ‘68 Les Paul Custom, featuring a carved maple cap on a mahogany body, mahogany neck with a long neck tenon and a rosewood fretboard, and “Screamin” PAF-style humbuckers.
Weighing 9lbs 14oz, this EGC68-50 dishes out plenty of natural warmth and resonance, qualities faithfully captured by the “Screamin’” PAF-style humbuckers. Wound in-house at Fujigen, these pickups deliver a great array of traditional Les Paul-style sounds: the bridge position has a rich growl and cut with great note attack and harmonic complexity, while the neck pickup is fat and round. This Greco has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.

-Wood: Mahogany
-Shape: Chunky ‘50s-style C, measuring .880” 1st fret, 1.010” 12th fret
-Fretboard: Rosewood, block inlay
-Frets: Medium jumbo, no wear
