Up for sale, a 1987 Fender Telecaster ‘72 vintage reissue model TL72-55 in excellent, 100% original condition and in perfect working order. This early “Made in Japan” Tele was crafted at the Fujigen factory during the golden age of Fender Japan production, uncommon outside of its country of origin.
Tonewoods include an ash body and one-piece maple neck, and this guitar has a bold natural acoustic sound with great treble response and midrange oomph, qualities faithfully captured by the stock pickup complement. The TL-Single pickups have a vintage wind and alnico magnet design, delivering twang in the bridge position and a smooth, open tone with airy highs at the neck. Weighing 8lbs 10oz, this Tele has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.
