Up for sale, a 1987 Fender Jazz Bass ‘75 vintage reissue model JB75-80 in exceptional, 100% original condition and in perfect working order. This early “Made in Japan” Jazz Bass was crafted at the Fujigen factory during the golden era of Fender Japan production, featuring an ash body, maple neck and bound fretboard with block inlay.

Weighing 10lbs 8oz, there's a strong fundamental punch and sonic authority to the tone, and the low end is thick and focused, with plenty of natural resonance on tap. The single coil pickups deliver a range of classic Jazz Bass tonalities, with ample midrange burp and treble-centric grind. The bridge pickup has clarity and growl, balanced by the fuller thump of the neck position single coil, and naturally many of the instrument's best tones come from finding the perfect blend between the two. This JB75-80 has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 45-100 roundwound strings, comfortable action, and spot-on intonation.

The gloss Natural finish highlights the dynamic grain in the ash body, and cosmetic wear is limited to just a scant few tiny nicks on the body as a whole and a small cluster of larger dings on the treble-side lower bout perimeter. The neck profile retains its smooth gloss.
