Up for sale, a 1987 Charvel by Jackson Model 6 in excellent, 100% original condition and in perfect working order. Crafted at the Chu Shin factory in Japan and uncommon outside of its country of origin, this rare upper-tiered Charvel Superstrat was built to shred with a high-output SSH pickup complement, neck-through construction, JE-1200 active electronics, and a Floyd Rose-licensed tremolo.
The pickup complement includes a Jackson J50BC ceramic magnet humbucker in the bridge position, and two J200 stacked single coils in the middle and neck. The Model 6's active circuitry features individual on/off toggles for each pickup, ensuring maximum tonal versatility, with an active Mid-Boost knob to really fill out the sound. Tonally, this Model 6 offers crisp, authoritative cleans, punchy and tight in high-gain scenarios for focused chording and searing lead playing. Weighing 8lbs 14oz, this Charvel has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 9-42 strings, slinky action, and accurate intonation.
