Up for sale, a 1987 Boss RV-2 Digital Reverb in excellent condition and in perfect working order. This early Boss pedal was groundbreaking in its day as the first digital reverb pedal on the market, and was only produced from 1987-88 in a notably short production run for such a popular box.
The RV-2 has six different modes: Room, Hall 1, Hall 2 (more depth than Hall 1), Plate, Gate, and Panning Delay. The reverb time is adjustable from 0.2 to 10 seconds and in front of the reverb circuit there’s a pre-equalizer circuit. This is a total workhorse reverb and a pedal suited for a variety of genres and gigging situations. The pedal shows very restrained wear on the edges of the enclosure, and the original black foil label is intact on the bottom. The serialized sticker is also present in the battery compartment, dating production to November, 1987.
