Up for sale, a 1986 Fender Telecaster model TLG80-60 100% original condition and in perfect working order. This early “Made in Japan” Telecaster was crafted at the Fujigen factory during the golden age of Fender Japan production. An uncommon model even within Japan, this upscale Tele iteration features a sleek all-Black look accented by gold hardware.

Tonewoods include an ash body, maple neck and a dark, tight-grained rosewood fingerboard. The pair of Fender Japan’s TL-Vintage pickups yield chewy twangy and sparkling cut, with a distinct sound in each position on the three-way pickup selector. This TLG80-60 weighs 8lbs 11oz, professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.
