Up for sale, a 1985 Kramer Focus series JK2000 in near-mint, 100% original condition and in perfect working order. This Kramer “Superstrat” is built to shred, assembled in Japan by ESP, featuring a pair of humbuckers, a genuine Floyd Rose tremolo, and a no-frills control configuration.
Tonewoods include an alder body, a maple neck, and 22-fret maple fingerboard, and this Kramer weighs 8lbs 5oz. The original pair of humbuckers yield a diverse array of tonalities emulating a Seymour Duncan ‘59/JB combo: the bridge pickup is aggressive and powerful, with lots of harmonic complexity and a vocal midrange bump that lends itself to high gain situation, and the neck humbucker delivers PAF-style clarity and warmth with open, airy lows. This JK2000 benefits from a professional setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 9-42 strings, slinky action, and accurate intonation.
