Up for sale, a 1985 Guyatone PS-010 Compression Sustainer in excellent condition and in perfect working order. Part of Guyatone’s Box Series, produced in Japan by Tokyo Sound Co. during the early ‘80s; this versatile compressor was designed to compete with the classic Boss CS-2, with an added Tone knob for further tonal sculpting (a feature Boss would later include on the CS-3).

This PS-010 delivers rich sustain, and the compression is smooth and dynamic. Simple, user-friendly controls include Level, Sustain, Tone, and Attack knobs. This pedal is in fantastic shape, with just a scant few tiny marks on the enclosure. The original knobs are present, the graphics are pristine, and the black foil serialized label on the bottom is very clean.
