1985 Greco Mint Collection EGC68-50 Custom Black Beauty w/ Lindy Fralin Pure PAF, Japan Fujigen

+ shipping

Up for sale, a 1985 Greco Mint Collection EGC68-50 Custom “Black Beauty” in excellent condition and in perfect working order, loaded with an upgraded pair of Lindy Fralin Pure PAF humbuckers. Crafted at the venerable Fujigen factory, this Mint Collection Greco is a clear response to the ‘68 Les Paul Custom, featuring a carved maple cap on a mahogany body, a mahogany neck, rosewood fretboard, and long tenon neck joint.

At 10lbs 3oz, there's plenty of natural sustain on tap, and the tonewood complement yields a warm, resonant acoustic response. The upgraded pair of Lindy Fralin Pure PAF pickups feature real butyrate bobbins and all USA-made parts, faithfully capturing the sweet trebles, warm lows, and tailored, clear midrange associated with Gibson's PAF tonal profile. This EGC68-50 benefits from a professional setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.

The gloss Ebony finish is framed by multi-ply cream binding, and cosmetic wear includes a number of minor dings on the body as a whole, largely relegated to the back and lower bout perimeter, as well as an area of buckle rash central to the back. The neck retains its smooth gloss, with just a few shallow nicks along the profile.

The original faux leather gigbag is included.
