Up for sale, a 1985 Fender Boxer Series Stratocaster model SF-451 in excellent, 100% original condition and in perfect working order. Built in Japan at the famed Fujigen factory during the golden era of Fender Japan production, the SF-451 is among the rarest Strats produced during the original Boxer series run in the mid 1980s. Perfectly tailored to the "Superstrat" crowd, it boasts a single humbucker, a 22 fret slab rosewood fingerboard with jumbo fretwire and a 12" radius, and a Fender FS-1 double locking tremolo system. Weighing 7lbs 4oz, tonewoods include a basswood body, maple neck, and slab rosewood fretboard. Acoustically, this guitar has a smooth, balanced voice with excellent treble cut, qualities which translate well through the Dragster humbucker. The Dragster has a punchy growl with plenty of midrange muscle. This Stratocaster SF-451 benefits from a professional setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.
