Up for sale, a 1984 Fender Precision Bass ‘62 vintage reissue model PB62-80 in 100% original condition and in perfect working order. A very early model the last year of Fender Japan's JV (Japanese Vintage) series, these highly sought after instruments paralleled Fender vintage reissue production at Fender's Fullerton, CA factory.
Tonewoods include an alder body, maple neck, and slab rosewood fretboard, and this JV Precision Bass is very lightweight at only 8lbs 3oz, offering a balanced, resonant acoustic platform with smooth sustain. Plugged in, the split-coil pickup delivers pillowy thump, rich growl and round treble punch. This Precision Bass has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 45-105 roundwound strings, easy-playing action, and accurate intonation.

The gloss Black finish shows various dings and finish scratches, buckle rash on the back, and a couple finish chips just south of the input jack. The ambered gloss on the neck profile has had the "Made in Japan" text filed off just north of the neck plate, and there are some shallow marks along the profile length that are not distracting to the palm while fretting.
The original Fender-branded gigbag is included.
