Up for sale, a 1984 Fender Boxer Series Telecaster model TL555 in excellent, 100% original condition and in perfect working order. Produced at the Fujigen factory during the golden age of Fender Japan production, this shred-ready “Made in Japan” model features an HH pickup configuration and Fender’s Blade Shooter tremolo system.
Tonewoods include an alder body and maple neck capped by a thick slab 22 -fret rosewood fingerboard, and this guitar weighs 8lbs 5oz. The pair of Dragster humbuckers dish out plenty of power and rich, cutting roar. The global two-way mini toggle allows for more snappy, sparkling single coil tonalities, and the TBX Tone knob functions as a standard tone control from 0-5, while decreasing the resistance to allow for more bass, treble, presence and output to flow to the amp from 5-10. This Boxer Series Telecaster TL555 has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, easy-playing action, and accurate intonation.
