Up for sale, a 1983 Fender Telecaster Standard in perfect working order, upgraded with a pair of Lollar pickups and complete with the original hardshell case.
Tonewoods include an alder body, maple neck, and slab rosewood fretboard, and the upgraded Lollar pickups include a Special T in the bridge position and a Vintage T at the neck. The Special T is Lollar’s most popular Tele pickup, designed in the vein of early ‘50s Broadcaster pickups, with a hair more midrange kick plus a small bump in compression for extra smooth trebles while still delivering plenty of quintessential Tele twang. The Vintage T at the neck is exceedingly faithful to vintage spec, full and bell-like while retaining excellent articulation, pairing well with the more aggressive Special T in the middle position. This Tele weighs 8lbs 1oz, professionally setup here at Mike and Mike’s Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.
Neck Specs:
-Wood: Maple
-Shape: Slender soft V, measuring .770” 1st fret, .875” 12th fret
-Fretboard: Rosewood, 9 1/2“ radius
-Frets: Medium jumbo, moderate wear beneath the plain strings on frets 1-10
-Scale Length: 25 1/2”

-Serialization: E3-prefix on headstock face
Body Specs:

The control cavities have been shielded, and the neck pickup cavity has been routed for a humbucker. Cosmetic wear on the gloss Sunburst finish includes scuffing along the pick path and at the bass-side lower bout on top, limited buckle rash on the back, and some minor dings and finish scratches on the body as a whole. The neck profile retains its smooth ambered gloss, with a few shallow marks along the profile length.
The original Fender molded hardshell case is included.
