1983 Fender Telecaster Elite Olympic White Near-Mint, 100% Original w/ Case

Up for sale, a 1983 Fender Telecaster Elite in near-mint, 100% original condition and in perfect working order, complete with the original hardshell case. A USA-made reinvention of the Telecaster platform produced in limited quantities from 1983-84, the Elite model features active circuitry with both TBX treble/bass boost and MDX mid-boost circuitry, offering 12db of boost. The active circuit was designed by Paul Gagon, and the pair of Alnico II pickups feature dual coils for noise reduction. Additional features of the Elite model include a 12” fretboard radius and gold-plated hardware.

Weighing 10lbs 9oz, the classic tonewood combination of an ash body, maple neck, and rosewood fingerboard provides an ideal platform for the pair of Alnico II pickups. Rich and powerful, these pickups offer taut, aggressive lows, smooth treble cut, and a punchy midrange character, coupled with the TBX Tone and MDX Mid-boost controls. This Telecaster Elite has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike's Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.
