Out Of Stock
Up for sale, a 1983 Fender Telecaster Custom ‘72 vintage reissue model TC72-60 in 100% original condition and in perfect working order, complete with the original gigbag. Produced in the second year of Fender Japan production, this "Japanese Vintage" (JV) series model was crafted at the Fujigen factory during the highly regarded (and equally highly collectable) JV era, uncommon outside its country of origin.

A very early example, this "Made in Japan" Telecaster Custom features an ash body and a one-piece maple neck, with a Wide Range humbucker in the neck position and a traditional Tele single coil at the bridge. This Tele has a broad tonal spectrum, offering thick, meaty humbucker tones in the neck position and, twangy single coil snap at the bridge. The middle position is a "best of both worlds" setting, and the two pickups balance well both in terms of output and their respective tonal attributes. This Tele weighs 7lbs 2oz, professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.
