Up for sale, a 1983 Fender Jazz Bass ‘62 vintage reissue model JB62-75 in near-mint condition and in perfect working order, 100% original save for a new bone nut. Produced in the second year of Fender Japan production, this "Japanese Vintage" (JV) series bass is a rare model boasting a gloss Sunburst finish, black bobbin pickups, cloth-covered leads, and vintage-spec hardware including long stem clover-button tuners and spiral bridge saddles.

Tonewoods include a resonant alder body, maple neck, and slab rosewood fretboard, and this JB62-75 weighs 8lbs 12oz. The black bobbin pickups are wound to recreate the best qualities of a ‘60s Jazz Bass, with plenty of midrange growl and burp, top end detail and fundamental power. Rolling back the Tone knob yields a pillowy, thick thump that retains definition. This Jazz Bass has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 45-100 roundwound strings, easy-playing action, and accurate intonation.
