Up for sale, a 1983 Boss T Wah TW-1 in mint condition, complete with the original box. Produced from 1978-1987, the T Wah (Touch Wah) was Boss’ first compact filter effect.
The T Wah applies an automatic wah effect to the signal, with a dynamics sensitive response. The more you dig in, the more the effect is applied, while the Sens (Sensitivity) knob determines the trigger threshold. The Peak knob controls the tone, and the Drive switch toggles between Up or Down settings, essentially mimicking the motion of sweeping up or down on a standard tilt-based wah pedal.
This T Wah has barely a mark on it. The original knobs are intact, along with the black foil “Made in Japan” label, and the serialized sticker in the battery compartment dates production to January, 1983.
The original box is intact, showing only light wear on the edges and bottom.
