Up for sale, a 1983 Boss OC-2 Octaver effects pedal in excellent condition and in perfect working order. This original iteration of the OC-2 has a slightly different shade of root beer brown sparkle on the enclosure than later versions, also featuring the "Octaver" text that would quickly be replaced with the much more common "Octave" on all later iterations.
This pedal lets users fatten up their sound by generating two additional tones to their signal, one and two octaves below the original note. Each tone has a separate Volume control with good tracking and surprising clarity.
This is an early Japanese-made black label version that retains the original trio of black knobs with metallic inserts. The black foil label on the back is clean and intact, as well as the original serialized sticker in the battery compartment. The enclosure exhibits very light wear on the enclosure edges, and the white silkscreen graphics are in great shape.
