Up for sale, a 1982 Greco Mint Collection model EG59-85 in near-mint, 100% original condition and in perfect working order. Heralding from the most collectable (and brief) era of Greco production and the pinnacle of Fujigen design, the EG59-85 captures the finer points of a '50s Les Paul Standard, featuring a lightly figured carved maple top and a pair of “Double Trick” PAF-style humbuckers.
Weighing 9lbs 9oz, this EG59-85 dishes out plenty of natural sustain, with a solid (non-weight relieved) mahogany body and a one-piece mahogany neck. The Double Trick humbuckers are in the "low wind" PAF camp at 7.1k ohms, offering excellent treble detail and bounce. Warmth and clarity are on tap, and the bridge pickup has a pronounced honk and chirp, yielding a smooth growl when digging in. The neck is notably full and rich while retaining a certain immediacy. This Greco EG59-85 has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike's Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action and accurate intonation.

The gloss Faded Brown Sunburst highlights subtle flame figuring on the maple veneer (over a carved maple cap), and this is a very clean example with cosmetic wear limited to a few faint finish scratches on the back. The gloss on the neck profile is flawless.
A gigbag is included.
