Up for sale, a 1982 Fender Precision Bass ‘57 vintage reissue model PB57-95 in 100% original condition and in perfect working order. A rare, top-tier model hailing from Fender Japan's first year of production, this Precision Bass was part of the JV (Japanese Vintage) series made at the Fujigen factory. Features include a gloss two-tone Sunburst nitro lacquer finish, USA-made Fullerton split coil pickup, CTS pots, and vintage-correct touches including an anodized gold aluminum pickguard, reverse-gear tuners and threaded bridge saddles.

Tonewoods include an alder body and a one-piece maple neck, and this P Bass weighs 9lbs 6oz. The USA-made split-coil pickup is the same seen in Fullerton reissues of the era, delivering plenty of pillowy thump, rich growl and round treble punch, with raised pole pieces beneath the A string, just like on a genuine vintage examples. This PB57-95 has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 45-100 roundwound strings, easy-playing action, and accurate intonation.

The gloss two-tone Sunburst nitro lacquer finish is a feature reserved for Fender Japan's top tier JV models, and cosmetic wear is limited to one impact of note on the back at the treble-side lower bout, with relatively little additional wear beyond a handful of faint finish scratches and tiny dings. The gloss on the neck profile is smooth and clean.

The original faux leather padded gigbag is included.
