Up for sale, a 1982 Fender JV Telecaster '52 reissue model TL52-95 in 100% original condition and in perfect working order. This top-tier JV-serial Tele was produced in the first year of Fender Japan production as part of the "Japanese Vintage" (JV) line, which only lasted from 1982-84. Extremely highly regarded and representative of Fender’s first Blackguard Teles, this TL52-95 features the same USA-made pickups as Fender’s earliest American Vintage series models produced in Fullerton, CA, finished in Butterscotch Blonde nitro lacquer.
Built on the traditional tonewood platform of a premium ash body and one-piece maple neck, this guitar is a dynamic and soulful instrument with a particular midrange complexity, resonance, and treble articulation. The Fullerton-made Fender USA pickups include a bridge position with a brass baseplate, gray fiber bobbin, and flush-mounted alnico pole pieces, delivering dynamic, chewy twang, while the neck pickup has ideal fullness and bell-like top end. Weighing 8lbs, this Telecaster TL52-95 has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike's Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.
