Up for sale, a 1982 Aria Pro II SB-R60 in 100% original condition and in perfect working order. Produced at the Matsumoku factory in Japan, this rare bass features maple neck through construction with ash body wings, an MB-II humbucker, and a gloss Smoky Amber finish. The SB series has been played by a pedigree of legendary bassists including Cliff Burton, John Taylor, Rudy Sarzo, Jack Bruce, and Marcus Miller.
The smoothly sculpted neck-through body construction offers superb sustain as well as unbeatable access to the upper frets, and this bass weighs 9lbs 9oz. The MB-II pickup can be pillowy and warm or growly and aggressive with a twist of a knob, and an additional Dual Sound mini-toggle yields thump and roundness in one position and a more focused edge in the other, cutting through a mix very effectively. This SB-R60 has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike's Guitar Bar with fresh 45-100 roundwound strings, easy-playing action, and accurate intonation.
