Up for sale, a 1981 Greco Super Real model EGF850 in excellent condition and in perfect working order. Hailing from the briefest and most collectable era of Greco production and the pinnacle of Fujigen factory craftsmanship, the "Super Real" Grecos do an excellent job of capturing the finer points of classic Les Paul design. Available only from 1980-81, the EGF850 is notable for its '50s-correct neck profile carve, fret edge binding, and lacquer finish, augmented with a pair of Seymour Duncan SH-1 ‘59 PAF-style humbuckers.

Traditional tonewoods include a solid mahogany body, maple top with bookmatched flame maple veneer, mahogany neck, and bound rosewood fingerboard, and this EGF850 weighs 9lbs 13oz. The upgraded pair of Seymour Duncan ‘59 SH-1 humbuckers are wound in the vein of the original PAF, delivering the open, detailed sound of that iconic design with warm, spongy lows and sweet treble bounce; the bridge has a more focused, midrange-centric attack and growl, while the neck is smooth and broad. This EGF850 has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.

The gloss Cherry Red Sunburst lacquer finish highlights the tight, even tiger flame figuring in the bookmatched maple veneer (over a carved maple cap). Cosmetic wear includes faint buckle rash across the bass side of the back and a number of small dings at the lower bout. The neck profile retains its smooth gloss, with a few tiny marks along the profile length that have no impact on playability.

The original faux leather padded gigbag is included.
