Up for sale, a 1981 Fernandes The Revival series RPB-50 bass in excellent, 100% original condition and in perfect working order. Crafted by the Electric Sound Research Group under the Fernandes banner, The Revival series instruments were produced from 1981-89, faithfully capturing the finer points of golden age USA-made instruments.

This RPB-50 is designed to capture the look and feel of a 1957 P Bass, with vintage spec long stem tuners, spiral bridge saddles and dome-topped knurled knobs. Tonewoods include an alder body and a one-piece maple neck. The L-500D split-coil pickup delivers plenty of thump and rich treble growl, with a particularly punchy midrange presence, and the signal gets particularly broad with the Tone knob rolled back to taste. Weighing 8lbs 9oz, this RPB-50 bass has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 45-100 roundwound strings, easy-playing action, and spot-on intonation.
