1981 Fernandes FEX-70 Explorer Vintage Guitar 100% Original, Japan

Up for sale, a 1981 Fernandes FEX-70 in excellent, 100% original condition and in perfect working order. A faithful iteration of the ‘50s Explorer platform, this Japanese-made Fernandes features all-mahogany construction, with singing sustain and plenty of natural midrange warmth and growl. The original pair of L-8005 humbuckers are wound firmly in the PAF range, delivering the spongy lows, smooth trebles, and tailored midrange. Weighing 10lbs 1oz, this FEX-70 has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.
