Produced under the umbrella of the Fernandes company in Japan, Burny has long been lauded for making some of the finest “lawsuit” LP instruments, with great adherence to vintage Gibson spec and premium fit and finish work. Among Burny’s varied Gibson-style output, the FLG series is among the very best, with premium features including solid figured maple tops and lacquer finishes.
Weighing 9lbs 6oz, this FLG-90 boasts the traditional tonewood complement of a solid mahogany body, carved two-piece birdseye maple top, mahogany neck, and bound rosewood fretboard. The L-8001 humbuckers are a faithful take on the PAF platform, delivering smooth treble bark, clear low-mids and growling cut, particularly harmonically rich and dynamically potent. This FLG-90 has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.
