Up for sale, a 1981 Aria Pro II Super Twin ST-1504 double-neck in near-mint, 100% original condition and in perfect working order, complete with the original hardshell case. This extremely rare Aria model is a double-neck guitar/bass hybrid, only produced on a made-to-order basis, boasting top-of-the-line craftsmanship and componentry. Extremely versatile, the ST-1504 offers optional stereo output and a bevy of tonal sculpting options.
This bass features maple/walnut neck-through construction with ash body wings (and inter-neck block), weighing 13lbs 3oz and delivering as much natural sustain and sonic presence as one would expect from an instrument of its heft. The bass neck features an MB-II humbucker, warm and round with plenty of low end rumble and an overarching smooth thump via the short 30 1/2“ scale length. The guitar neck boasts double MH-1 humbuckers, and these pickups are focused and clear with a certain low-mid fullness and sweet treble growl. All three pickups are equipped with Dual-Sound mini-toggles, coil taps which enable single coil spank and sparkle. This Super Twin ST-1504 has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar, strung with fresh sets of 10-46 and 45-100 roundwound strings, dialed in with easy-playing action and accurate intonation.
