Up for sale, a 1980s Roland RE-201 Space Echo in excellent condition and in perfect working order. This particular Space Echo was originally sold to the Japanese domestic market, also boasting the later two screw lid instead of the side latches used on earlier examples. Freshly serviced by our techs here at Mike & Mike's Guitar Bar, it works flawlessly and runs reliably on USA power with the original 100V Japanese transformer. We can also install a 120V Mercury Magnetics transformer at the buyer's discretion for an additional charge.
One of the most popular and enduring tape echos of all time, the RE-201 has been used on countless stages and in studios worldwide, although perhaps its most prominent usage has been with Brian Setzer, where a Space Echo has been an indispensable part of his signal chain for decades. All tape heads were cleaned and everything runs exactly as it should with a low noise floor and lush, detailed repeats. All of the hardware is intact, and the faceplate is quite clean, with bold graphics and some light wear through the green portions. All of the original knobs are intact too. The diagram on the inside lid is no longer present.
