Up for sale, a 1980s Roland Dimension D SDD-320 chorus in exceptional condition and in perfect working order. This legendary rack-mounted analog chorus is among the most sought after of all time and in many ways defined the guitar sound of popular music in the 1980s, used by artists including Andy Summers, Alan Murphy (Go West, Kate Bush), and Stevie Ray Vaughn.

Among the richest chorus tones ever produced, the Dimension D features four push-button presets, and each preset is distinct, with warm, spacious textures. Rather than mere swirls and pitch modulation, there’s something about the Dimension D that is broader and sweeter than all other units, an oft-imitated but never replicated openness and (as the name would imply) dimensionality. The four presets can be engaged independently or in tandem in various pairs and combinations. Monaural inputs can be converted into full stereo outs, with both balanced and unbalanced I/Os (XLR and 1/4”), and the -30 to +5 red LED Output Level indicator and Remote footswitch input further aid studio functionality.

Cosmetic wear on this unit is limited to a handful of minor nicks and scratches on the enclosure. The graphics are pristine.
