Up for sale, a 1980s Maxon CP-101 Compressor, near-mint and complete with the original box and paperwork. This compressor has similar sonic characteristics to its small box, two-knob peers, delivering ample squish and sustain, with an inviting warmth and pillowy response. It’s an ideal “always-on” pedal, but can also be effectively used to accentuate solos and lead passages with a distinct percussive click.
The enclosure has barely a mark on it, the graphics are pristine, and the original knobs are present. The serialized sticker is intact on the baseplate.
