Up for sale, a 1980s Marshall JCM800 Lead 1960A 4x12” speaker cabinet in perfect working order. This slant front cabinet is loaded with a quartet of speakers that predate the cab, most notably a trio of Celestion G12H Blackback T1281s and one Celestion Vintage 30.
The Blackbacks have matching “GJ” date stamps, translating to July, 1976, and the Vintage 30’s “26DF” date stamp translates to April 26th, 1996. The cabinet is wired for 16 ohms.
The original black elephant tolex is intact on the cabinet, while the back panel is a later replacement from a JCM900 era cabinet, showing notable wear on the back and various dings and scuffs on the edges. The original brown grillcloth is present, along with the large plastic white Marshall logo, black plastic corners, and handles.
