Up for sale, a 1980s Charvel by Jackson Model 4 in excellent, 100% original condition and in perfect working order. Produced at the Chu Shin factory in Japan and uncommon outside of its country of origin, this ‘80s Superstrat is built to shred with a basswood body, quartersawn maple neck, slab rosewood fretboard, HSS pickup complement, and Floyd Rose-licensed JT6 tremolo.
The pickup complement includes a Jackson J50BC ceramic magnet humbucker in the bridge position, and two J200 stacked single coils in the middle and neck. The Model 4's active circuitry features individual on/off toggles for each pickup, with an active Mid-boost knob to punch up the sound. This Model 4 offers crisp, authoritative cleans, and focused crunch in high-gain scenarios. Weighing 8lbs 4oz, this Charvel has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 9-42 strings, slinky action, and accurate intonation.
