Up for sale, a 1980s Charvel by Jackson Model 3 in excellent, 100% original condition and in perfect working order, complete with a hardshell case. Made at the Chu Shin factory in Japan exclusively for the Japanese domestic market, this well-crafted Superstrat is built to shred, featuring an SSH pickup complement, Kahler tremolo, and a gloss Red finish.
Tonewoods include a basswood body, rock maple neck, and thick slab 22-fret rosewood fingerboard. The bridge pickup is a Jackson J90C distortion class humbucker with an accentuated low frequency response. The pair of single coils are Jackson J100s, deliver classic Strat articulation and snap in the neck and middle positions. The five-way blade pickup selector switch offers a variety of voicing options via the SSH configuration, yielding vintage-flavored single coil cut and thick, ripping drive. This Model 3 weighs 8lbs 5oz, professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, slinky action, and accurate intonation.
