Up for sale, a 1980s Arion SAD-3 Stereo Analog Delay effects pedal in excellent condition and in perfect working order, complete with a newer box, paperwork, and battery door. Produced during the heyday of stompbox effects by Prince Tsushinkogyo LTD., Arion is a little-known quality company based out of Japan, seldomly seen outside its country of origin. The combination of bucket brigade technology and an exclusive noise reduction circuit provides the SAD-3 superior long and short delays with quiet operation. Sonically very much in the vein as its Maxon/Ibanez contemporaries, this SAD-3 features a JRC4558 chip at the heart of the circuit, with a slightly chorus-tinged decay. The pedal features both true stereo and mono functionality, with a standard control set consisting of Delay Length, Depth, and Repeat knobs. The battery compartment is a unique top-loader design, and the pedal can be powered via 9v battery or standard adapter (not included).
Cosmetic wear is limited to light scuffs on the enclosure, with clean graphics and original knobs. A newer working yellow SAD-1 battery cover has been provided, and the original pink SAD-3 battery cover is included with box and paperwork.
