Up for sale, a 1980 Martin D-28 in excellent condition and in perfect working order, complete with the original molded hardshell case. This Martin benefits from the maintenance due an instrument of this vintage, with a professional neck reset and carved bone saddle.
Tonewoods include East Indian rosewood back and sides and an X-braced Sitka spruce top, delivering a classic Martin dreadnought tonal profile. Offering richness and depth, this D-28 has ample projection, highly responsive to player inputs. Notes have excellent balance across strings and in all registers, and the top has a worked-in quality befitting the instrument’s age.
