Up for sale, a 1980 Hamer USA Special in excellent, 100% original condition and in perfect working order, complete with the original hardshell case. This Hamer features a solid honduran mahogany body, deeply figured curly flame maple cap with a gloss Sunburst finish, and a pair of DiMarzio humbuckers.
The pairing of mahogany and maple yields both rich warmth and clear treble cut, and the Dimarzio humbuckers are full and throaty, with a broad lower midrange bark and exquisite treble cut. The bridge pickup has a more aggressive, focused bite, while the neck is smoother and broader.
