Out Of Stock
Up for sale, a 1980 Greco Super Power EG800GS Goldtop in near-mint, 100% original condition and in perfect working order. A rare guitar offered under Greco's Super Real banner, this upper tiered “lawsuit era” model was produced at the famed Fujigen factory in Japan, featuring a Goldtop nitro lacquer finish and PU104 “Hot Lick” P-90-style pickups.

This Greco takes its design cues from a mid-1950s LP Standard, with a solid mahogany body, carved two-piece maple top, mahogany neck, and bound rosewood fretboard, and this EG800GS weighs 8lbs 9oz. There’s plenty of natural sustain and midrange heft on tap, faithfully captured by the pair of Maxon-made PU104 “Hot Lick” P-90 pickups. These pickups offer plenty of classic P-90 growl and glassy articulation, channeling the warmth and detail of its tonewoods. This EG800GS has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action, and spot-on intonation.
